Cosmozoa Conglomerate

Welcome to the Conglomerate.

We are Cosmozoa, a highly fused type of median system called a conglomerate. This website was created to embrace the part of us that existed before coming together as one, as well as how that affects us now.

You can learn about our different facings, how this type of system functions, as well as our system history, how we became plural, how the number grew and collapsed multiple times before opting to fuse for some semblance of stability.

We use the butterfly as our symbol because of their complex life cycle. This form of our system has allowed us to act as one, and by all intents and purposes be one, but not leave everyone behind. We're still all here, but the parts have reassembled, like a caterpillar breaking itself down to form a butterfly.

Growing up in the 2000s, our love for the old web runs deep. Windows XP, dial-up internet, and the original Wii defined the aesthetics of our childhood. Today, our love for the old web is both out of nostalgia but also perceived necessity to escape the "dead internet" everywhere else.

More than anything, this website is an archive, a place of odd nostalgia for when our separation was greater, even if that meant that our friendships, jobs, mental health, and life were objectively worse for wear.

Come see the conglomerate for all of its facings, and its simultaneous wholeness.
